About Us
Our Historic Cooperstown Home
Tucked along tree-lined Chestnut Street, Cooperstown Bed and Breakfast is a beautifully preserved 1902 Queen Anne Victorian offering historic charm and modern comfort in one of Cooperstown’s most picturesque residential neighborhoods. Originally opened as a bed and breakfast in 1999, the inn entered a new chapter in 2026 under the care of Samantha and Phil, who personally manage the property and are dedicated to preserving its heritage while providing thoughtful hospitality. Guests enjoy a warm, welcoming atmosphere with original architectural details, heart-of-pine floors, antique furnishings, and curated artwork throughout the home.

Our Historic Home
The house dates back to at least 1901, the inn is a classic Queen Anne Victorian known for its character, craftsmanship, and distinctive architectural details. Carefully preserved elements, from period lighting and antique furnishings to original artwork and beautiful wood floors, allow guests to experience the history and elegance of the home, while thoughtful updates provide the comfort modern travelers expect. Staying here is more than a place to sleep; it is an opportunity to enjoy the charm, warmth, and quiet sophistication of a historic Cooperstown residence.

Breakfast
Breakfast is central to the experience here. Each morning’s meal is prepared to order from menus provided upon arrival and updated daily. We cook with seasonal ingredients, herbs from our garden, eggs gathered from our hens, and other locally sourced products when available. Careful dietary preparation is an important part of our kitchen. The inn operates two separate kitchen spaces, including one dedicated to gluten-free and specialty dietary preparation. We are happy to discuss specific dietary needs in advance of your stay.

Meet Your Innkeepers
Samantha and Phil became the innkeepers of Cooperstown Bed & Breakfast in 2026 and now call the historic home their own. Samantha oversees the kitchen and daily operations of the inn, while Phil focuses on guest relations and helping visitors make the most of their time in Cooperstown.
Zane, a friendly and well trained therapy dog, is also part of life at the inn. He spends much of his day greeting guests and working as a guardian dog and herder, watching over the chickens as they free range on the property and helping guide them back to their coop in the evenings. Zane does not enter the guest room floors, and guests with allergies are welcome to discuss any concerns in advance.
