Welcome to the Cooperstown B&B
Historic Lodging in the Heart of Cooperstown NY
Tucked along tree lined Chestnut Street, our historic Cooperstown bed and breakfast is a Queen Anne Victorian dating back at least to 1901. Set among preserved homes and shaded sidewalks, it offers a peaceful residential setting just minutes from the center of the village.
Guest rooms reflect the character of the home while offering the comforts modern travelers appreciate. Each is individually furnished with antiques, original artwork, and warm wood floors, along with private bathrooms, new mattresses, allergen conscious bedding, spa sized towels, personal toiletries, and strong WiFi.
With free on site parking, easy walkability, and the seasonal trolley stopping right in front of the house, guests can explore Cooperstown at their own pace, then return for slow porch mornings, relaxed afternoons, and quiet evenings that settle naturally into rest.

Enhancements & Special Getaways
Enhance your stay with curated add-ons, including our Glimmerglass Festival getaway with exclusive guest perks.

Gourmet Breakfast, Made Just for You
Breakfast is central to the experience at Cooperstown Bed and Breakfast. Each morning, Samantha prepares a full hot breakfast to order from menus provided upon arrival and updated daily. Dishes often feature seasonal ingredients, herbs from our garden, eggs gathered from our hens, and other locally sourced products when available.
Careful dietary preparation is an important part of our kitchen. The inn operates two separate kitchen spaces, including one dedicated to gluten-free and specialty dietary preparation. Guests with dietary needs are welcome to discuss them with us in advance so we can plan a breakfast that works for them.

Walk to Cooperstown’s Most Iconic Attractions
Cooperstown Bed and Breakfast is ideally located for exploring the village with ease. Just minutes from Main Street, guests can walk to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Doubleday Field, local shops, restaurants, and the scenic shoreline of Otsego Lake, all while returning to the quiet charm of a historic residential neighborhood. The internationally renowned Glimmerglass Festival is also only a short fifteen-minute drive away, placing many of Cooperstown’s most celebrated attractions within easy reach.

Where to Eat in Cooperstown, One Table at a Time
Planning a visit to Cooperstown? This is part of an ongoing series where we explore the village one restaurant at a time, focusing on places we recommend to our guests.
From casual lunches after the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum to dinners after a performance at the Glimmerglass Festival, these are the spots we return to.
Each review reflects our own experience and is written with travelers in mind.

Meet Your Innkeepers
Samantha and Phil became the innkeepers of Cooperstown Bed & Breakfast in 2026 and now call the historic home their own. Samantha oversees the kitchen and daily operations of the inn, while Phil focuses on guest relations and helping visitors make the most of their time in Cooperstown.
Zane, a friendly and well trained dog, is also part of life at the inn. He has gone through a therapy dog certification program that qualifies him to work with children, the elderly, and others with special needs. He spends much of his day greeting guests and working as a guardian dog and herder, watching over the chickens as they free range on the property and helping guide them back to their coop in the evenings. Zane does not enter the guest room floors, and guests with allergies are welcome to discuss any concerns in advance.
