The Glimmerglass Suite is a private, full-floor retreat occupying the entire third floor of the inn, offering approximately 975 square feet of exclusive space. With no other guest rooms on the level, this suite provides a rare sense of privacy, separation, and quiet. The suite is located on the third floor and is accessible by stairs only. The inn does not have an elevator.
The suite includes two distinct bedrooms, known individually as the Carmen Suite and the Tosca Suite, along with two private bathrooms, a central hallway, and a spacious library lounge.
One bedroom features a queen-sized canopy bed in an intimate setting, while the second is a generously sized junior suite with a king-sized bed and a twin-sized bed, offering flexible accommodations. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with shower.
At the heart of the suite is the private third-floor library lounge, a 225 sq ft gathering space designed for reading, working, conversation, or unwinding after a day in Cooperstown.
The lounge features comfortable seating, a dedicated desk, original artwork, and views across the historic rooflines, creating a true living room within the suite rather than a shared common area. A mini refrigerator is also located in the library lounge for guest convenience.
Throughout the suite, original artwork, hand-painted murals, Tiffany and Turkish lamps, and 120-year-old heart pine flooring reflect the craftsmanship and character of the home. Modern comforts are thoughtfully integrated, including air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, hairdryers, and bath amenities. Each bedroom is equipped with a smart TV, allowing guests to stream their preferred services using their own accounts.
